💥CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA: Behind the scenes of Onam celebrations💥

Image
ONAM CELEBRATION AT COLLEGE: A Rendezvous with culture. Onam, the joyous and vibrant festival of Kerala, has a charm that pulls everyone into its colorful embrace, and at college it transforms from a simple festival to an unforgettable memory filled with giggles, chirpy tunes, and a whole lot of prismatic flower patterns. STRIKING THE PERFECT CULTURAL CHORD. Our Onam celebration, a two-day extravaganza, was no less than a delightful burst of cultural assimilation that struck just the right amount of amusement and warmth in all of us. It was awesome , to say the least. EMBRACING TRADITIONS THROUGH CULTURAL PROGRAMS What's a festival without dance, music and a little bit of drama? Our fest started off with a bag full of cultural programs that married traditional art with youthful exuberance in the most beautiful way possible.Trust me, we witnessed some serious thespian endeavors that day. But I reckon the best surprise was the fashion show where our senoirs dressed like bamboo boys. ...

🪸SURVIVING PRACTICAL EXAMS🪸

PREPARING IN YOUR POST-GRADUATION COLLEGE LIKE NEVER BEFORE....     I could not attend college classes at Mar Theophilus colleges as the practice for lab exams are ON. Nowadays I am supposed to attend the classes at Government Women's College were I was doing my Post-graduation. BEFRIENDING THE PRACTICAL EXAM BEAST: We have crammed every theory, swallowed every concept whole, and practically memorized our textbooks. yet, at the flicker of the phrase ''practical exams'', we're as jittery as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. Now it was high time to break everything up and make it less frightening. DISCUSS AND DISSECT WAS OUR NEW MANTRA: The total class strength is present on these final days of preparation. We just parted into groups for the convenience of practical discussion, chemical preparation, standardization of chemicals and finally for doing experiments. The teamwork made it quite a lot easier for understanding the experiments. Now we have only 2 wee...

APPRECIATION🖋️

Image
An Irish-Indian Educationist, MARGARET COUSINS once said that...                     " Appreciation can make a day, even change a life.            Your willingness to put in all into words is all that is necessary"  This was my greatest learning today. I realized this when I received a Pen as a gift of appreciation for doing the best role play in one of the Model class taken by our seniors . The simple act helped me gain confidence and motivation to perform things without hesitation. I will carry this same learning of Appreciating others because I can foresee that a simple appreciation can change the lives of many...

A rare time is going on in our college, that is, It now has all the 3 batches of student teachers together. As the activities of SEM 1,2 and 4 are going on simultaneously our Orientation classes were postponed to upcoming week. which turned to be a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY.... we were asked to act like students for the following 1. Demonstration Classes by our Super-seniors. 2. Criticism Classes by our seniors. 1. 2.

FIRST DAY OF B.Ed COLLEGE

Image
TIMES CHANGING ⌛               Going to the college felt as if its a child's first day at nursery school. While seeking blessing from my parents I told the same thing. My father replied that there's difference earlier it was me who made you wake up and get ready but today It were the one who woke me up and asked to get ready.... it felt that I am now an adult.❤  COLLEGE HOURS 🔔               It began at 9 o' clock with morning prayer followed by demonstration classes by our seniors. The confidence they portrayed was the one I will also be acquiring through my course. Here, every single day you get to learn great things.💪 TODAY'S LEARNING 📚 1. Smile is the most precious thing a teacher can have. 2. A lways occupy the front row. 3. Be an initiator.                                     ...

A New Beginning...

IT ALL STARTS WITH A SMALL STEP...👣               Its the very First day of my teaching career and a step closer to my dreams. With all the blessings and insights I was walking through the corridors of Mar Theophilus Training College into the auditorium. It was already occupied with minds like mine. INAUGURATION:                  The program was organized by our seniors. We had Bursar, Principal and all other faculty members present. Starting from the welcome dance to felicitation it felt very divine and colorful. I too got an opportunity to light the lamp representing the student community. This program was followed by PTA election and Class teacher meeting. DEPARTMENT MEETING:                We were welcomed by our class teacher and Seniors at Natural Science Studio Class. Those smiles were pleasant and will always be in my heart.  Here, begins t...
