"Every ending has a new beginning."   The last day of teaching practice at St. John’s was filled with mixed emotions —a sense of completion, gratitude, and nostalgia as we prepared to return to our college after weeks of immersive classroom experiences. Final Revisions & Green Package Completion ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ“š Even on the last day, the final rush of revision kept us busy. During the 5th hour , I went to 9A to cover a small topic , ensuring that my students got the most out of our time together. To document this milestone , I took photographs with the students , marking the 5th class of my project and a fulfilling closure to the initiative. Helping a Colleague & Cherishing the Last Moments ๐ŸŽก๐Ÿ“– Earlier in the morning , I assisted Ancy in presenting her innovative model—a spinning wheel—in her class 9D . It was wonderfu...

"Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." – Benjamin Franklin As the second last day of my teaching practice unfolded, a sense of completion and reflection set in. The morning hours were spent writing my last lesson plan , marking the end of an incredible journey of planning, teaching, and learning. But I wanted to make this day special —to try something different, something I had been fascinated by for a long time. A Flipped Classroom Experience in 8A ๐Ÿ”„๐Ÿ“š Among all the lessons I had taken, I always wanted to experiment with an innovative approach . The concept of a flipped classroom had been on my mind, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to implement it. Over the weekend, I had already given students notes to study at home , preparing them for an interactive session in class. During the 5th period in 8A , I conducted my flipped classroom session on Addictive Habits and the Need for Assertiveness . The lesson was highly en...

"The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery." – Mark Van Doren Today was a challenging yet rewarding day as I wasn’t feeling well. ๐ŸŒžThe joy of teaching and the impact of effective learning strategies ๐ŸŒž

"Teaching is the greatest act of optimism." – Colleen Wilcox As we approach the final days of our teaching practice , every moment in the classroom feels more valuable. Today was a mix of duties and engaging teaching sessions , making it yet another productive and fulfilling day . Afternoon Duty & A Substitution in 8A ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ“š The day was structured differently as I had afternoon duty , ensuring smooth coordination of activities. However, the highlight of the day was the 5th-hour substitution in Class 8A , where we explored the chapter on Placenta and Parturition . ๐Ÿ“ŒLessons in Teaching and Learning

"Mistakes have the power to turn you into something better than you were before."   The day started on an amazing note —with confidence, energy, and better interactions with students . Over time, we have grown more familiar with the students, and they, in turn, have become more comfortable engaging and sharing their thoughts in class. A Small Mistake, A Big Lesson ๐ŸŽฏ๐Ÿ“… However, the day also brought a learning moment for me . Due to a clash in my timetable , I missed a class in 9A . Instead, I took the lesson plan and later coordinated with another teacher to adjust it . Though it was a small mistake , it made me realize the importance of keeping track of schedules and informing authorities in advance . This is a lesson I plan to carry forward throughout my life —to always double-check my timetable and ensure proper communication. Thankfully, I handled the situation well , and it did not disrupt the flow of teaching. Engaging Lesson in 8A ๐Ÿงฌ๐Ÿ”ฌ During the 5th period , I had my...
