The last day at St John's

"Every ending has a new beginning."

The last day of teaching practice at St. John’s was filled with mixed emotions—a sense of completion, gratitude, and nostalgia as we prepared to return to our college after weeks of immersive classroom experiences.

Final Revisions & Green Package Completion 🌿📚

Even on the last day, the final rush of revision kept us busy. During the 5th hour, I went to 9A to cover a small topic, ensuring that my students got the most out of our time together. In the next period, I had a substitution in the same class, where I completed the last two concepts of my Green Package as part of my project work. To document this milestone, I took photographs with the students, marking the 5th class of my project and a fulfilling closure to the initiative.

Helping a Colleague & Cherishing the Last Moments 🎡📖

Earlier in the morning, I assisted Ancy in presenting her innovative model—a spinning wheel—in her class 9D. It was wonderful to see creative teaching ideas come to life, making learning more engaging for students.

As the day progressed, we took photographs with students, distributed sweets as a token of appreciation, and collected feedback forms from our concerned teachers. These small yet meaningful gestures made the day even more special.

A Green Gesture for the Institution 🌳🌱

As part of our commitment to green initiatives and sustainable behavior, we gifted a mango tree to the school. This was our way of expressing gratitude for the institution that nurtured us and kept us safe during our teaching practice. Along with it, we also contributed a piece of grass, symbolizing growth, renewal, and the lasting impact of our time here.

A Meeting with the Head of the Institution 🎓✨

Before leaving, we met with the Head of the Institution, who shared valuable comments and words of encouragement. His insights and appreciation for our efforts reaffirmed the impact we had created during our teaching practice.

As we stepped out of St. John’s, it was not just a farewell to a place but to a transformative experience that shaped us into better educators. The journey may have ended, but the memories, lessons, and bonds will stay with us forever. 🌿✨
