🧠Flipped Classroom- Experimenting an innovative approach

"Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." – Benjamin Franklin

As the second last day of my teaching practice unfolded, a sense of completion and reflection set in. The morning hours were spent writing my last lesson plan, marking the end of an incredible journey of planning, teaching, and learning. But I wanted to make this day special—to try something different, something I had been fascinated by for a long time.

A Flipped Classroom Experience in 8A 🔄📚

Among all the lessons I had taken, I always wanted to experiment with an innovative approach. The concept of a flipped classroom had been on my mind, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to implement it. Over the weekend, I had already given students notes to study at home, preparing them for an interactive session in class.

During the 5th period in 8A, I conducted my flipped classroom session on Addictive Habits and the Need for Assertiveness. The lesson was highly engaging, as students were already familiar with the topic and actively participated in discussions and activities. Watching them take charge of their learning was truly fulfilling, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Final Observations and Feedback in 9A 🧬✨

Earlier, during the 3rd hour, I had a class in 9A, where my biology teacher was present for observation. She keenly watched my session and later provided feedback and valuable suggestions. Her words of encouragement and constructive inputs were deeply appreciated, giving me insights into further improving my teaching approach.

A Sense of Completion ✅✍️

As the day wrapped up, we got all our records signed, marking an important milestone in our teaching journey. The feeling of wrapping up months of hard work, lesson plans, and classroom experiences was bittersweet—there was a sense of fulfillment, yet a realization that this journey was coming to an end.
