Project Outdoor Activity
"Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere." – Chinese Proverb
Today was a refreshing break from regular classes, filled with fun, creativity, and hands-on learning. From morning to afternoon duties to an exciting project outing, the day was packed with meaningful experiences.
Music and Johnsian FM🎶🎤
The day started with morning duty, where the atmosphere was lively as Johnsisan .F.M. played in the background. A highlight of the session was my colleague, Dean Jones, showcasing his musical talent by singing a song. It was a wonderful moment, adding a touch of joy and energy to the day.
Project Outing: Exploring Nature and Tree Marking 🌿🌳
One of the most exciting parts of the day was taking students on a project work outing. We explored the diverse plant life, observed the marking of trees, and engaged in discussions about their importance in the ecosystem. It was a hands-on learning experience, making students more aware of biodiversity and conservation.
Turning Waste into Innovation ♻️✨
In an effort to promote green behavior in schools, my colleague Indraja and I embarked on a creative upcycling an idea from my project. We transformed leftover and waste exam packages (used for carrying question papers) into something innovative and useful. It was a small but impactful step toward sustainability, proving that even waste materials can be turned into valuable resources with creativity and effort.
Today was not just about fun but also about learning in unconventional ways—through music, nature, and creativity. As we near the end of our teaching practice, days like these remind us that education goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. 🌱✨
