The final observation and Innovative model day St.Johns's
"The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery." – Mark Van Doren
Today was a challenging yet rewarding day as I wasn’t feeling well. However, knowing that I had an important observation, I made sure to inform the authorities in advance and reached school by 10:30 AM. Despite not being at my best, I was determined to give my students a meaningful learning experience.
Final Observation: Engaging Students with an Innovative Model 🎨📖
During the 4th hour, I had my last observation, conducted by my optional teacher. For this session, I introduced my innovative model—a flipbook on Adolescents and Their Food. The highlight of the class was the food rainbow activity, which immediately captivated the students and made them actively participate. They thoroughly enjoyed the session, and their engagement reassured me that the lesson was a success.
A Lesson Beyond the Classroom 🌱
Although my confidence was slightly affected due to my illness, I reminded myself that teaching is not just about delivering content, but also about adapting and persevering. In the end, the session went well, and it turned out to be another valuable day of learning and growth.
