Co-curricular Activites is equally important
Day 12 of my teaching practice was a vibrant and energetic day as the school hosted its annual arts fest. There were no regular classes, so the entire day was dedicated to celebrating the artistic talents of the students. The school was abuzz with excitement, with students from various grades showcasing their creativity through a wide range of performances and exhibits.
The day began with a colorful inauguration ceremony, where the school principal delivered an inspiring speech about the importance of arts in education, along with hoisting of school flag. Following that, the students took to the stage, performing dance, music, drama, and more. The fest also featured a variety of visual art displays, including paintings, sculptures, and craft work, all created by the students.
I spent most of the day assisting in coordinating the events, ensuring everything ran smoothly and the students were well-prepared for their performances. It was heartwarming to see the students so enthusiastic and proud of their work. Their creativity and passion were truly inspiring.
Although there were no regular classes, the arts fest provided a different kind of learning experience. It was a day that celebrated the diverse talents of the students and highlighted the importance of arts in a well-rounded education.
