Day 6 of Teaching Practice: A New Week Begins
The new week kicked off with vibrant energy as our school hosted a drawing and painting competition to celebrate Independence Day. The morning session was filled with creativity as students expressed their patriotism through art. However, this was just the calm before the storm as a sudden change in the timetable brought some chaos.
My schedule was shuffled; I was reassigned from 8B to 8U and from 9H to 9D. I quickly adapted, collecting the new portions and preparing my lessons. In the sixth period, I taught the topic of vascular tissues in class 8B1. The session was made even more interesting as Gayathri Teacher joined for peer observation, providing valuable feedback and support.
Despite the disruptions and the challenges of the new timetable, the day was productive and enriching. The students were engaged and curious, which made teaching them a rewarding experience. By the end of the day, I was exhausted but satisfied with the progress. To unwind, I headed to a juice shop with some colleagues, where we enjoyed refreshing drinks and reflected on the day's events. It was a fitting end to a busy and fulfilling day of teaching
