EMBARKING ON THE TEACHING JOURNEY

DAY ONE OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE AT ST. MARY'S HSS PATTOM.

On August 5th, I took my first steps towards St. Mary's HSS Pattom. The day began with excitement and nerves. During the second hour, I assisted in the kitchen with cutting vegetables. The third hour saw me and Arjun substituting at 8A1, a wonderful opportunity to connect with students. Lunch break at 12:30 involved serving lunch, which was a joy. In the sixth hour, I taught 8B1 about meristematic tissues, a moment that truly felt like stepping into my future. We captured these memories with a group photo before leaving at 4 PM.

Reflecting on the day, I felt a profound sense of accomplishment and gratitude. Each interaction, from kitchen duty to classroom teaching, reinforced my passion for education. The smiles of the students and the camaraderie with my fellow teachers made this first day unforgettable. As I left the school, I knew I was one step closer to realizing my dream of becoming an inspiring educator.
