Day 13th: The Schools Reopened🍁

Today marked the 13th day of my teaching practice after the Onam vacation, with schools reopening. I began my second period by introducing a new chapter on respiration to class 9D. The lesson involved breaking down the complex mechanisms of breathing and gas exchange, which I demonstrated using a model of the lungs. My peers observed the session, offering feedback on my teaching methods, and I also had the opportunity to show the demonstration to induction students visiting from St. Thomas school, which added a collaborative dynamic to the lesson.

Following the morning sessions, I was assigned noon meal serving duty, where I interacted with students during lunch, a good opportunity to bond outside the classroom setting.

During the 5th hour,  As part of NSS DAY Celebratio, I and Arjun GM took class 9V Class through a journey of drug abuse awareness talk. The session was insightful and addressed critical issues surrounding substance abuse, reinforcing the importance of health education alongside academic subjects. Overall, it was a productive day, combining academic instruction, peer feedback, student interactions, and meaningful extracurricular learning.
