Day 15 of Teaching Practice 🌱 | World Environmental Health Day 🌍

 ****

Today was a special day, not just for teaching, but for raising awareness. During the 1st hour, I had the chance to lead an awareness session on the importance of the day as part of our Natural Science Association in class 7F on **World Environmental Health Day**. 🌿 We discussed the importance of maintaining a clean environment for our health and well-being. The students were engaged and curious, sharing their ideas on how they can contribute to a healthier planet. It felt inspiring to see their enthusiasm, as they pledged to make small changes like reducing plastic and planting more trees. 🌳

Spent some good time in the canteen with my colleagues discussing  physical activity and further extracurricular programs for children. During the 5th hour, I shifted gears to take a class on **Respiration**, diving into the intricacies of **ventilation and alveolar exchange**. 🫁 I explained how our lungs breathe life into our bodies, with oxygen flowing in and carbon dioxide leaving. It’s always satisfying when students grasp these essential biological processes, and today was no different – they were fully immersed!

After class, I helped a colleague with chart preparations for an upcoming project. 🎨 It was a collaborative and creative process, with ideas flowing and hands busy drawing and colouring, There’s something fulfilling about working together toward a common goal.

As the day came to an end, I felt a sense of accomplishment – I wasn’t just teaching biology, but also sowing seeds of environmental awareness. 🌿 It’s days like these that make teaching a truly rewarding experience!
