"The best teachers are those who show you where to look, but don’t tell you what to see." – Alexandra K. Trenfor
On Day 18 of my teaching practice, the day’s highlight was teaching cellular respiration to class 9D during the 5th hour. ๐งฌ The class was highly engaging, as I was able to break down the complex biological processes involved in cellular respiration into simpler, digestible parts. ๐ Using visual aids ๐ and relatable examples, I explained the role of mitochondria, ATP production, and the importance of oxygen in energy release. ๐งช The students were curious, and their questions reflected a keen interest in the topic, which made the class very interactive. ๐ฃ️✨
After school, I went to the college to participate in discussions regarding the upcoming Wildlife Week Orientation session. ๐พ This session is expected to be informative and essential for raising awareness about wildlife conservation among students. ๐ฟ๐ The meeting was productive, and I gained a clearer idea of how I can contribute, given my passion for the subject. ๐ฆ ๐ฆ
Overall, it was a fulfilling day as I balanced my teaching responsibilities and personal interests, both of which are aligned with my goals as an educator. ๐๐ก
