🐚Day 20 of My Teaching Practice: A Blend of Duty and Recognition 😃📚

 
October 4th marked Day 20 of my teaching practice, with the afternoon set aside for a PTA meeting, giving us a half-day. 🎉 The morning kicked off with my usual kitchen duty 🍽, ensuring the students received their midday meals. It’s a routine I’ve come to appreciate ❤, as it brings us teacher trainees closer to the daily rhythms of school life. 🌟

Wildlife Week had just begun 🦋🐸, and an exciting moment awaited me! I headed to Thiruvananthapuram Zoo 🏞, where I received a certificate for my volunteering contributions in 2023-24 🎖. It was an honor to have the certificate handed over by Major VK Prasanth and Honourable Minister Chinjurani 🙌🎉, recognizing the effort and passion I’ve invested in wildlife conservation 🌿🦜. It felt incredibly rewarding to be acknowledged during such a significant event! 😊💚

After the ceremony, I joined my fellow teacher trainees at college to cast our votes 🗳 in the union elections. It was a day filled with a mix of responsibilities, pride, and civic participation 🎓✨. Though brief, it was fulfilling—a perfect way to balance personal achievements 🏆 with the ongoing demands of teaching practice 📖.

📚 Starting the last complete week at St John's

Martin As we step into the final days of our teaching practice , each session feels more meaningful, and the classroom interactions become even more special. Mondays are usually busy , and today was no exception, with two engaging classes that kept the momentum going. Continuing the Learning Journey in 9A 📝📖 During the 3rd hour , I was back in 9A , picking up from where we left off on Friday . We continued with the chapter, ensuring that every concept was understood and the notes were completed . Revisiting the previous day's learning helped reinforce the topic, allowing students to connect ideas smoothly. The last day at St John's

  "Every ending has a new beginning."   The last day of teaching practice at St. John’s was filled with mixed emotions —a sense of completion, gratitude, and nostalgia as we prepared to return to our college after weeks of immersive classroom experiences. Final Revisions & Green Package Completion 🌿📚 Even on the last day, the final rush of revision kept us busy. During the 5th hour , I went to 9A to cover a small topic , ensuring that my students got the most out of our time together. In the next period , I had a substitution in the same class , where I completed the last two concepts of my Green Package as part of my project work . To document this milestone , I took photographs with the students , marking the 5th class of my project and a fulfilling closure to the initiative.
