"Odonate Exploration Day: Discovering the World of Dragonflies and Damselflies!"
October 17, my 28th day of teaching practice, we had an exciting and productive day! π In the morning, After the line duty our team visited the WWF office to collect stunning exhibits for our upcoming odonate exhibition. These included beautiful photographs from the Society for Odonate Studies, showcasing the incredible diversity of dragonflies and damselflies. π✨ We returned to school by 11:30 AM and immediately began setting up the exhibition in the main auditorium. Meanwhile I got a substitution in 9D class when and took a biology session and late came back and joined the Exhibition
After arranging the displays, I had the pleasure of teaching a revision lesson on respiration and excretion to my 9D class during the 5th hour. The students were engaged and eager to learn! π±π§ We then transitioned to teaching them about dragonflies and damselflies, highlighting their unique features and ecological importance.
To make the exhibition a success, we invited several classes to come and explore the displays. It was wonderful to see students from different grades showing interest and enthusiasm for learning about these fascinating insects. π¦π Overall, the day was filled with learning, collaboration, and excitement as we prepared to share our passion for odonates with the school community!
Looking forward to more engaging sessions ahead! ππ
