Physical Education Day and sociometry

  An Interesting Day! 😊✨

Today was an exciting and engaging day of my teaching practice! 🌟 During the third hour, I conducted a physical education theory session for class 8B1, focusing on the topic of personal hygiene. 🧼 To make the lesson interactive, I used a glitter activity where glitter acted as germs. As students shook hands, they could see how germs spread, reinforcing the importance of hygiene. πŸ€²πŸ’§ I also gave a live demonstration using items like soap, towel, comb, and brush, relating them to daily hygiene habits. 🧴πŸͺ₯ The session concluded with a video and a fun crossword activity, making the learning more engaging and enjoyable. 🧩πŸŽ₯

In the fourth hour, I switched to a practical physical education session where we practiced Anulom Vilom Pranayama, a form of alternate nostril breathing. 🌬️🧘‍♀️ The students really enjoyed the exercise and found it calming.

During the fifth hour, I had a revision session with class 8U, where we discussed the chapter Let's Regain the Field. 🌾 The discussion was lively, and it was great to see the students actively participating! I also received valuable feedback from my school teacher, which will help improve my teaching.

Soon after the actual class and Lunch break during 6th period. I went to my 9th Class to conduct the Sociometry test,  πŸ“– which aims to find the group dynamics of the selected group. Sociometry helps to find the Isolated, Neglected, rejected Students along with clicks and reciprocals of the class. πŸ§‘‍🀝‍πŸ§‘

In the last hour, I spent time correcting notebooks and giving remarks on students' work πŸ“š✍️. I wrapped up the day by completing my teaching journal. πŸ“

Overall, it was a fulfilling day, and I’m looking forward to more productive sessions ahead! 😊
