"A New Chapter Begins: Embracing Surprises and Learning Together" 🌟

My second phase of teaching practice kicked off at St. John's HSS, Nalanchira, and it’s been a wonderful journey from the very start! 😊 Day 0 was all about settling in: meeting with my allocated teachers, collecting the timetable, and diving into the syllabus and portions. This gave me a good foundation and got me excited for the weeks ahead! 📚


Day 1 started with an unexpected but exciting task. I accompanied two teams from St. John's to the SARVO Quiz at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, an annual knowledge showdown for students. The quiz ran from 9:30 to 1:30, and our students put in a commendable effort, even making it to the final round! 🎉 Though they didn’t clinch the top spot, the experience was enriching and inspiring for both students and myself.


Back at school in the afternoon, I slipped into my regular routine. My allotted classes are 8A and 9A, with guidance from Jojumon Sir for the 8th grade and Shailaja Ma'am for the 9th. During the 6th period, I conducted my first class in 8A, introducing the lesson on “Diversity of Sustenance.” I was thrilled to see how quickly I connected with the students, who showed genuine curiosity and engagement. 🧑‍🏫✨


Unlike my first phase, teaching at St. John's feels like it's going to be a blend of surprises and new experiences. This school has a vibrant environment that promises to be both challenging and rewarding. I look forward to exploring these new dimensions of teaching and guiding students as they learn and grow. 🌟😊

📚 Starting the last complete week at St John's

Martin As we step into the final days of our teaching practice , each session feels more meaningful, and the classroom interactions become even more special. Mondays are usually busy , and today was no exception, with two engaging classes that kept the momentum going. We continued with the chapter, ensuring that every concept was understood and the notes were completed . Revisiting the previous day's learning helped reinforce the topic, allowing students to connect ideas smoothly. The last day at St John's

  "Every ending has a new beginning."   The last day of teaching practice at St. John’s was filled with mixed emotions —a sense of completion, gratitude, and nostalgia as we prepared to return to our college after weeks of immersive classroom experiences. Final Revisions & Green Package Completion 🌿📚 Even on the last day, the final rush of revision kept us busy. During the 5th hour , I went to 9A to cover a small topic , ensuring that my students got the most out of our time together. In the next period , I had a substitution in the same class , where I completed the last two concepts of my Green Package as part of my project work . To document this milestone , I took photographs with the students , marking the 5th class of my project and a fulfilling closure to the initiative.
