A special assembly day
"The best teachers are those who show you where to look but don’t tell you what to see."
– Alexandra K. Trenfor π✨
The day at St. John’s began with a special assembly by the senior secondary students of class 12E. It was beautifully organized, with smooth compering, a heartfelt prayer, pledge, and news reading. A standout moment was a student’s soulful rendition of a movie song πΆ, which added a special charm to the gathering.
During the 2nd period, I had a substitution in 9A, where we explored disc prolapse and first aid measures. The students engaged actively, discussing real-life scenarios and understanding the importance of immediate care in such conditions π₯π‘.
In the afternoon session, I was again assigned 9A, where I focused on completing the chapter with a session on medical imaging technology. The discussion on X-rays, MRI's, and CT scans fascinated the students, as they learned how these techniques help diagnose internal conditions effectively πΈπ¦΄.
Later, in the last period, I had 8A, where we went through the diagnostic test answers. The students performed fairly well, and I took time to clear their doubts on the two chapters we had covered. I also shared some tips for better understanding and retention for future assessments π✨.
A well-rounded day of teaching, assessments, and insightful discussions! Looking forward to more enriching classroom moments ahead ππ.
