Exploring Ecosystems and Raising Awareness πŸŒ±πŸ’‰

“Teaching is the greatest act of optimism.” – Colleen Wilcox

Today was an eventful Day 3 of my second phase teaching practice! Despite the government’s half-day declaration, I was grateful not to miss my periods. The morning began with a usual duty in front of the office, greeting students with warm smiles 😊.

During the 2nd period, I was assigned a substitution in 8A. We dove into the fascinating world of ecosystems and ecological interactions 🌿🌍. The students were enthusiastic and curious, which made the session lively. I ensured the discussion was interactive, using relatable examples to connect with their surroundings.

Adding to the day’s significance, we followed up on World Diabetes Day (observed yesterday) by conducting an awareness session. This included a live glucometer demonstration, which was both educational and engaging. Students learned the importance of monitoring blood sugar levels and maintaining a healthy lifestyle πŸ’‰πŸŽ. Their eagerness to understand and ask questions truly warmed my heart.

Though it was a short day, the blend of academic learning and health awareness created a fulfilling experience. It reminded me once again of the joy and responsibility of teaching. Looking forward to more days filled with smiles, learning, and inspiration! 😊
