πŸ°πŸ•°️ Missed and field visit and students joy

"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire." – William Butler Yeats

The day began with a delightful sight—all the teacher trainees from both institutions at St. John's were dressed in blue! πŸ’™ The coordinated effort created a beautiful visual treat, bringing a sense of unity and vibrance to the teaching practice atmosphere.

A Journey Through Time and History πŸ°πŸ•°️

For the 8th standard students, the day was filled with historical wonders and artistic marvels as they visited Kuthiramalika Palace and the Sunil Wax Museum in Thiruvananthapuram. πŸ›️✨ This visit not only exposed them to the rich cultural heritage but also provided a chance for interaction, learning, and exploring new opportunities. However, I missed out on this wonderful experience as I had a substitution class in 9th standard during the 4th period.

Diving Into Nutrition and Fetal Development πŸ₯¦πŸ§¬

Despite not being part of the field trip, my class in 9th standard turned out to be an enriching one. We explored the Nutrition, Protection, and Development of the Fetus. The students were highly engaged when discussing the nutritional value of different food items. They were particularly fascinated by how proteins contribute to muscle building and how proper nutrition is vital for a mother and her developing child.

To make the session impactful, I introduced an interesting perspective—
"Providing nutrition is the secret to transforming a normal woman into a superwoman, as she nurtures two bodies within one." πŸ’ͺ🀰 The students were intrigued by this analogy, making the lesson more meaningful and relatable.
